Meeting life's challenges with strength, spiritual understanding, and compassion for all.

Paramahansa Yogananda

The purpose of meditation is to calm the mind, that without distortion it may mirror Omnipresence.

Paramahansa Yogananda

In each soul is the unique imprint of the grace of God. Nowhere in the world is there another exactly like you.

Paramahansa Yogananda

When the mind is calm, how quickly, how smoothly, how beautifully you will perceive everything.

Kriya Yoga, Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings and the Self-Realization Fellowship in an ORF report:

Welcome to the SRF Meditation Circle Karlsruhe!

Our community consists of members and friends of the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), a globally recognized non-profit organization headquartered in Los Angeles, California.  Founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda, SRF strives to spread the teachings of Kriya Yoga. This scientific method enables a direct, personal experience with the Divine.

Our goal is to promote a universal understanding of the harmony of all major world religions through the teachings of Yogananda and our commitment to others. We are committed to embodying universal love—a love that connects all people in unity with the Divine.  For those interested, we offer the SRF teachings, which contain detailed instructions for practicing advanced yoga techniques. These include concentration and meditation methods, body-charging exercises, and practical tips for a harmonious life in body, mind, and spirit, all based on the teachings of Yogananda.

Additional information on the teaching units and further study materials can be found in our brochure “Unimagined Possibilities,” which is available in our group rooms.  Visit our meditation group to learn more about SRF publications and events. It’s helpful, but not mandatory, to contact our secretary on your first visit.  As an introduction, we recommend reading “Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramahansa Yogananda, available in bookstores worldwide.
